Här är ytterligare en handväska som är gjord “in-the-hoop” med brodermaskin. Väskan är i färdigt mått nästan 28x19 cm, alltså inte jättestor, men lagom om man ska gå bort och bara ha en del småsaker med sig. Jag sydde den redan förra året och har haft den ett par gånger och jag får många trevliga kommentarer varje gång jag haft den.
Väska är från en kollektion som heter ”Klappentaschen” från ”Der Stickbär” och finns i flera varianter för bågar som är minst 200x300 mm och kan brodera detta i ett stycke samt i ytterligare en kollektion för bågar som är 130x180 mm.
Jag preparerade tyget innan genom att göra ett mönster i form av rutor i mitt 5 D Embroidery Software. Sen satte jag även öglor i sidan och tog en bit tjockt tvinnat snöre som man har till heminredning och använde till axelrem. Jag gjorde en knut längst ner som jag även ”förseglade” med klister så att den inte skulle gå upp.
Knäppet är en mycket enkel lösning. En knapp och några trådar vanlig sytråd som jag drog igenom ”locket” på väskan ovanför knappen och sen sytt ZigZag över och knutit knut längst ner. Sen är det bara att vira runt knappen och det håller jättebra.
Here is another handbag that is made "in-the-hoop" with an embroidery machine. The bag is almost 280x190 mm in finished size, not huge but just enough if you're going somewhere and just want to have some small things with you. I did it last year and have had it a couple of times and I get many nice comments every time I have it.
This handbag is from a collection “Klappentaschen” from "Der Stickbär" and is available in several versions for embroidery hoops that are at least 200x300 mm and can embroider it in one hooping and there is also a collection for hoops that are 130x180 mm.
I prepared the fabric before putting it into the hoop by making a pattern in the form of squares in my 5 D Embroidery Software. Then I put two loops in each side of the purse and took a piece of thick twisted cord that you have in interior decoration and used as a shoulder strap. I made a knot at the bottom that I also "sealed" with glue so that it would not ravel or untie.
The closure is a very simple solution - a button and a few strands of sewing thread that I pulled through the bottom of the clasp on the bag above the button and then I stitched over the thread strands with zigzag and finally tied a knot at the end of it. Then, you just wrap around the button and it works great.
