Happy Easter – part 2

Jag tyckte jag behövde några nya disktrasor med Påskmotiv. Texten lade jag till i ”5 D Embroidery Software”.

Den första disktrasan broderade jag med de ägg som jag stygnsatt eller rättare sagt som jag lät ”5 D Embroidery Software” stygnsätta. Jag visade hur man stygnsatte dem i mitt förra blogg inlägg.  

I thought I needed some new dishcloths with Easter designs. I added the text in ”5 D Embroidery Software”. For my English speaking readers I might add that "Glad Påsk" is "Happy Easter".

The first dish cloth is embroidered with the eggs I digitized or rather let ”5 D Embroidery Software” digitize for me. I showed you how to digitize them in my previous blog post.

Här har jag använt en ny typ av font – ”Super Fonts” - som finns i ”5 D Embroidery Software”. Dessa är jätteroliga att arbeta med eftersom man kan ändra ”fyllnadsytan” inuti dem.

I've used a new type of font – “Super Fonts” – which can be found in ”5 D Embroidery Software”. These are really fun to work with because you can change the "fill area" inside them.

Jag har provat att brodera med en s.k. ”variegated”tråd – alltså en tråd som går från ljusaste till mörkaste nyans inom den färgen. Min tanke var att skapa lite ”vattenfärgs look” på det hela. Här har jag använt ”Quick Trace Light” när jag stygnsatt äggen.

I have embroidered with a so-called "variegated” thread - it goes from the lightest to the darkest shade of that color. My idea was to create a “water color look" of it all. I have used “Quick Trace Light” for digitizing the eggs.

Inte nog med att jag själv skriver i en blogg – jag älskar att läsa andras bloggar också. Man får så mycket inspiration. Så motivet till den andra disktrasan hittade jag i en blogg som jag refererat till tidigare – nämligen Husqvarna Vikings ”Sew Fun Blog”.

Texten lade jag sedan till i ”5 D Embroidery Software” och fonten som finns i programmet heter ”Swirl B”.

Not only do I write in a blog myself - I love reading other people's blogs too. You get so much inspiration. So the motive for the second dishcloth I found in a blog that I have referred to in the past - Husqvarna Viking's "Sew Fun Blog".

I created and added the text in "5 D Embroidery Software" and the font which is available in the program is called “Swirl B”.
