Här har jag provat nästa variant och det är att utnyttja 2 trådar av 40 wt. Rayon Embroidery Thread som övertråd.

Tänk er att man trär maskinen precis som när man använder en tvillingnål. Men här har man bara en nål. Jag bytte nål och använde en som hade lite ”större öga”.

Resultatet blev aningen tjockare och här får man brodera sakta för att det gäller att båda trådarna löper parallellt hela tiden så resultatet blir jämt.

Here I have tried another alternative and that is to use 2 strands of 40 wt. Rayon Embroidery Thread as top thread.

Imagine that you thread the machine just like when using a twin needle. But here you only use one needle. I changed the needle and used one that had a little “larger eye".

The result was slightly thicker and here you have to embroider slowly in order for both threads running in parallel all the time so the result is even.
