We all need Angels in our lives - 1

There is one week left until Easter, and I thought I was done with my Easter sewing, but as things happen that shouldn't happen and you realize that it may be important to do something which still has a purpose – how paltry it can still be let in that context.

I have looked at some very cute little "whimsical" Angels that I didn't know if I was going to sew or not. But after the tragic that happend this Friday here in Stockholm I realize more than ever that we need Angels in our lives. Kind, guardian Angels which gives our life light and meaningfulness. Angels come in many forms – those who made heroic efforts during the attack and those who helped their fellow human beings. Therefore, I have begun to sew some angels to hang in my Easter twigs.

When I looked out this morning, I saw the little violets that with their will and viability had grown up through the gravel and cement. Fighting spirit.

Now, I continue to sew and I'll show the result later.

  1. Sending waves of sympathy and hugs to yourself and all of Sweden, Lotta. Unspeakable acts - I do not understand how people can be so selfish and so unkind to each other. And yet, amongst it all, there are as you have said some real life angels.

    1. Thanks Pam my thought are with those who lost dear ones and got injured or traumatized. Also when things like this happens people re-value things and there are indeed so many "angels/heroes" making all the difference in the world.
