Circle, hearts and LOVE - 2

OK lets go through how you can make a design like the one on my potholder. It is not very difficult and the design itself makes it super easy in Embrilliance. In fact it consists of 3 rows of patchwork squares that themselves are single objects. So each square is built on 3 different objects – the position line, the material line and the appliqué stitch.

Now, of course, you can do in different ways. One can run the design in the Sewing simulator in Embrilliance and insert a stop and then remove. But in this case, I think the simplest is to position the design so that the two rows that should be left are in the hoop and the one to be removed is outside.

Tryck delete.
Because we know that each object consists of 3 parts, it is the 12 first parts to be removed. If you select these you will see that the row of squares is highlighted. Press delete.

When that is done you position the round circles and heart. You can see that I have placed the first circle on top of the first square. If I read the X Y coordinates they say -31,72.

I now insert the second circle and by using X, y coordinates -31,-72 the circle will be placed on the opposite left side.

Then I place the heart on the other row somewhere in between.

You can see that a tiny bit of the fabric is showing but if you like you can have it like this. Or you can remove the squares under the embroidered circles. Then you proceed in the same way as when you removed that first row. You select the objects belonging to the first and fourth square and delete them.

Everything looks OK, but…..a red sign tells me it is too big for the hoop. What can that be? Probably a stray stitch point.

The easiest way to find out in Embrilliance is to go into Stitch Edit mode and then you see the stray stitch and can remove it.

This is how easy it was to merge four designs and also make some adjustments.
